Dear
visitor and international investor,
If
this is your first visit to AFRICABIZ
monthly on-line issue - The
ultimate newsletter on trading and investing in 48 sub-Saharan
African countries - I warmly welcome you.
If you are a regular and faithful reader, welcome
back.
From February 23 till March 8, 2000 our main business
promoting tool for investing and trading in Africa:
The
Electronic MARKETPLACE was down; for reason beyond
our control; snafus happened at the hosting side during
the upgrade from interspeed.net to hispeed.com
We have been obliged to completely reinstall the Electronic
Market Place and manually reinsert the existing
messages one by one...It was a very consuming task and
this is one of the reasons why we had 24 hours delay
in delivering this issue of AFRICABIZ
ONLINE Monthly Issue.
Nevertheless, as we all know it: "There is a silver
lining...." and we are finally pleased with the
result.
Now you have a new brand Electronic
Market Place at your disposal to market, advertise,
make offers, post bids and so on about your company
services and products - in 12 topics and relevant subtopics
- to take a share of the swelling business cake available
within 48 sub-Saharan African countries.
Please
visit following
link to get more acquainted with the Electronic
MARKETPLACE and ride the wave of business success
in Africa.
We've
experienced also a crash with our preferred php editor:
WebExp from mwd.com - an excellent web authoring tool
for the dummies. Unfortunately this happened when we
were hurrying up to meet our schedule, update the site
and deliver the contents of AFRICABIZ.
So,
we have to take the drastic decision to shift to another
web authoring tool. We chose DREAMWEAVER 2.1, from macromedia.com;
which is the only WYSIWYG web authoring tool which can
help us keep our files from WebExp. We have to get accustomed
pronto to its cluttered screen but was rewarded by its
numerous tools and finally ease of use - but not so
simple as WebExp.
One
of the utilities of DREAMWEAVER help us analyzed BusinessAfricaT
website; and we were truly astonished to find out that
the site grew up bigger and bigger with more than 10,000
links including more than 2,500 external links.
That discovery prompt us to make
two site maps to help you easily navigate the
site and discover the wealth of information available
on investing and trading in 48 sub-Saharan African countries.
Please visit the following links to have access to the
site maps:
sitemap1
and sitemap2
This month topic about "Freebie
You cannot live without" concerned how to
protect yourself against hackers playing wild with your
website.
AFRICABIZ
DISCUSSION BOARD is at your disposal to express
your opinion.
Many thanks for dropping by and see you here next
month.
