BUSINESS
OPPORTUNITIES IN AFRICA
|
ADDITIONAL INCOME / OPPORTUNITY RELATED TO A FREEZE-DRIED
PAPAIN PRODUCTION PLANT:
TAR-SATURATED CORRUGATED CARDBOARD
ROOFING.
On the promotion board of ISSUE N° 20 - Click
here for more - we exposed a "niche" operation:
FREEZE-DRIED PAPAIN PRODUCTION which could be used as
"economic catalyst" and launching
pad for the economic development of an African country's
regional territory. .Last month an additional operation
- Animal Breeding - was added. Click
here for more.
-
This month we add a new business opportunity to the
PAPAIN production: The production
of tar-saturated corrugated cardboard roofing system
As
can be seen in the table below, an operation to produce
35 metric tons of high grade freeze-dried papain needs
390,000 to 920,000 papaya trees. One third of the
plantation need to be regenerated every three year.
Each papaya tree weighing in average 500 kg and yielding
15% of dried cellulose material; 29,250 to 69,000
metric tons of dried cellulose raw material are therefore
available to produce tar-saturated corrugated cardboard
roofing as here
extensively exposed.
Plantation
of Papaya |
260
to 400 hectares. 1,500 to 2,300 trees per hectare
|
Investment
as below outlined
|
Workforce
on plantation - 400 to 650 workmen for latex collection
|
Plant
management: approximately 40 skilled technicians
and engineers
|

5- Technology transfer + Startup Assistance. Etc.

Minimum activity guaranteed: 1,600 IU/mg
Possible: 3,200 IU/mg
|
|

|
Total
revenue / per year at full capacity: US $ |

|
|
R.O.I |
40
to 50%
|
|
The fundamentals / Revenue and R.O.I outlined in the
table are based only on proceeds from the main production
of freeze dried papain. Results from production of
tar-saturated corrugated cardboard roofing and last
month opportunity here exposed
(cattle and or pig breeding as ancillary production)
are not included.
One
can see - considering these additional operations -
why the production of PAPAIN can be used as an "economic
catalyst" /central operation for the
economic development of a country's region as here
exposed. It is a perfect "Income Building Power"
operation; labor intensive and foreign currency provider
or saver. Capable of generating the "Synergetic
Impact Factor" here
